124th Annual General Meeting of the International Football Association BoardIFAB agenda confirmed ZURICH - Friday, 12 February 2010The International Football Association Board (IFAB) will convene at the Home of FIFA in Zurich on Saturday, 6 March for its 124th Annual General Meeting (AGM). The agenda for the meeting, which will be chaired by FIFA - as is tradition in the year of the FIFA World Cup - includes proposed amendments to Law 1 (The Field of Play) and Law 5 (The Referee) of the Laws of the Game. Among the matters submitted for discussion are sending-off offences, specifically the act of denying a goal or obvious goal-scoring opportunity; feinting in the run-up to take a penalty kick; the role of the Fourth Official; an update on the ongoing Additional Assistant Referee experiment in the UEFA Europa League, and an update and discussion on the latest developments concerning goal line technology. Each British association has one vote apiece, while FIFA, which represents its 204 other member associations, has four. A three-quarter majority is required for any proposal to be passed.
